Put baby goods and a caregiving item in the same Amazon Japan order and Suntory Tennensui water gets 40% off twice. Add Subscribe & Save, the Kao 3-item deal and this week’s free item, and my checkout on October 4 looked like this:

Amazon Japan checkout: subtotal 60,857 yen, five discounts, order total 15,400 yen
Top box: the five discounts (Tennensui 40% off twice, Subscribe & Save, Kao 3 items, this week’s free item). Bottom box: what you actually pay. Boxes added by me
The cart: 5 kinds of Tennensui x 5 cases, Pampers wipes, 2 Attack detergents, Cucute and Listerine, 30 items in total

Both campaigns end October 5 (Mon) 23:59 JST, or earlier if stock runs out.

How it works: 40% off twice, so you pay 15% for the water

If the water's list price is 100

Baby 40%Care 40%You pay 15%

S&S 5%(thin strip)

The two campaigns are calculated separately and each takes 40% off the list price of the water. Together that is 80% off, and Subscribe & Save takes another 5%, so you pay 15% of the list price for the water.

The baby goods, caregiving item and Kao detergents are not discounted. They are what you buy to qualify, so pick things you already use.

Step 1: Check your Raku-Raku Baby registration

The baby campaign only counts if the campaign page shows 「らくらくベビー登録済」 (registered). New registrations take 24 to 48 hours to show up, and co-registered family members are not eligible. Raku-Raku Baby sign-up page ↗

Raku-Raku Baby is a free Amazon Japan program. You only enter a due date or your child’s birthday (Amazon describes it as being for families expecting a baby or with a child under 1).

Even after signing up, it only counts once the campaign page shows 「らくらくベビー登録済」.

Step 2: Add 3,000 yen or more of baby goods

Pick from group A: baby goods, diapers or formula. One case of Pampers wipes was enough. The water does not count toward the 3,000 yen.

Tap a card to open the product page on Amazon, where you can check the latest price.

Step 3: Add a caregiving item from group A

Laundry detergent is in the caregiving group too. If the product page shows the line below, it qualifies.

Step 4: Choose the water (up to 5 cases each)

Group B has 6 products, up to 5 cases each. I took 5 kinds x 5 cases = 25 cases.

When the seller is not Amazon.co.jp

  1. Open 「その他の出品者」 (other sellers) on the product page
  2. Find the row sold by Amazon.co.jp
  3. Press 「カートに追加」 on that row
  4. Check in the cart that the seller is Amazon.co.jp

Step 5: Kao 3 items and this week’s free item

Two Attack detergents plus Cucute make three Kao items for 500 yen off. Then add one free item: Listerine or Magnifique.

Step 6: Turn on Subscribe & Save in the cart

Switch on the toggle next to each water product in the cart (定期おトク便 - 5%オフ).

Cart line for Tennensui 550 ml x 24, quantity 5, Subscribe and Save toggle on, delivery every month
Once on, it shows a delivery interval of 1 month

At checkout, open the discount breakdown (割引). If サントリー天然水が40%OFF appears twice, place the order (see the first image).

How to stop Subscribe & Save

  1. Go to Account, then Subscribe & Save management (定期おトク便の管理)
  2. Open each of the five water subscriptions
  3. Skip the next delivery or cancel the subscription

The 40% discounts apply to this order only. Later deliveries come at the normal Subscribe & Save price.

My combination, and tips if you change it

  • Baby: one case of Pampers wipes (enough to pass 3,000 yen on its own)
  • Caregiving: two Attack 4 kg detergents. The campaign page states no minimum, but I did not test a single item
  • Water: 5 kinds x 5 cases. Buying less keeps the same discount rate
  • Kao 3 items and the free item: optional, you only lose those small discounts

Whenever you change items, open 割引 at checkout and confirm both 40% lines before ordering.

Things to watch

  • Subscribe & Save deliveries after the first one do not get the 40% off. Five subscriptions are created, so another 25 cases will come next month unless you skip or cancel them in Subscribe & Save management.
  • Only items sold by Amazon.co.jp count. Marketplace sellers, online supermarkets and 1-Click orders are excluded.
  • Group A and group B are counted separately. You cannot combine the two campaigns or use the water to reach 3,000 yen.
  • Cancelling only the group A items after ordering may lead Amazon to charge back the discount.

FAQ

Can I use it without Raku-Raku Baby?

Yes, once. The caregiving campaign needs no registration, so you get 40% off one time. To get it twice you need Raku-Raku Baby, which takes 24 to 48 hours to activate.

Do I need Subscribe and Save for the discount?

No. Both 40% discounts also apply to normal orders. Subscribe and Save only adds 5% more.

Only one 40% line shows at checkout. Why?

One condition is missing. Check that Raku-Raku Baby is active, baby items total 3,000 yen or more, a caregiving group A item is in the cart, and the water is sold by Amazon.co.jp.

When does it end?

October 5, 2026 (Mon) 23:59 JST, or earlier if stock runs out.

Is other bottled water included?

No. Only the Suntory Tennensui products in group B, six items on the campaign page.

Does 1-Click ordering get the discount?

No. 1-Click orders are excluded. Add items to the cart and go through checkout.

What happens if I return something?

If returning or cancelling group A items breaks the conditions, Amazon may charge back the discount.
