mottoku collects products that are discounted, on time-limited sale or earning extra points on Japan's major online malls — Amazon.co.jp, Rakuten Ichiba, Yahoo! Shopping and au PAY Market — so you can compare them in one place instead of opening each store. The site is mainly in Japanese, and some pages are available in Chinese, English, Korean and Vietnamese.

Why we run this site
When you shop online in Japan, the amount you actually pay for the same product changes with the store, the timing and the points you earn. Opening four malls one by one to compare prices and points takes time. mottoku aims to cut that work by showing price drops, sales and point promotions together in one list.
How information is collected and updated
Product information, prices and stock on this site are collected and displayed automatically from data that each online mall makes public. Amazon prices and stock are refreshed roughly every 5–30 minutes, and Rakuten Ichiba, Yahoo! Shopping and au PAY Market are updated regularly as well.
Online prices and stock change quickly, so what you see here may differ from the actual terms of sale. Always check the final price, shipping, stock and point conditions on each mall's official page before buying. See our disclaimer (in Japanese) for details.
Editorial policy
Our shopping guides cover how to choose appliances and gadgets, when to replace them, and how each mall's sales and point programs work. Our first goal is to help readers buy well and avoid mistakes. Because prices, point rates and campaign terms change, we avoid stating fixed figures and point you to the official sites for current conditions. Most guides are currently in Japanese.
