【Until Oct 19】Amazon Drinks Sale: 50 Popular Picks | Up to 47% Off Past Price, Plus How to Stack Subscribe & Save and Coupons

6 items added on Oct 7

We went through the sale page again on the 7th and added these. When we rechecked on the 9th, the Ayataka Café matcha latte no longer had a discount, so we removed it. The biggest discount is Evian 750ml (47% off the past price), followed by Evian 1.5L at 38% off and Wilkinson Ginger Ale at 33% off. Some overlap with items further down, just in a different size or label.

The sale page on Oct 6

Amazon has started its Prime Big Deal Days Drinks Sale (プライム感謝祭 飲料セール). It runs from Tue, Oct 6 to 23:59 on Mon, Oct 19. Cases of water, tea, sparkling water, coffee and more are all marked down.

The sale has about 600 items. We went all the way through the page sorted by "Popularity" and "Best Sellers" and picked 50 items that sell well and have big discounts (including those added on the 7th; on the 9th we rechecked and removed anything no longer on sale). The biggest discount is Evian 750ml, at 47% off the past price.

5 types of discounts and how to read the cards

Besides the sale price, some items get the discounts below. The green and orange badges on each card show which ones apply.

Whether #4 and #5 stack with the other discounts varies by item. Check the discount lines at checkout before you place the order. For how Subscribe & Save works, see our Subscribe & Save article.

How we picked & how to read the numbers

• Popularity: We looked at the order under the sale page's "Popularity" and "Best Sellers" sorts, the "X+ bought in past month" (過去1か月で◯点以上購入) note on product pages, and review counts.
• Discount: We compared the discount against the product page's "past price", plus Subscribe & Save, first-delivery coupons and codes. Items that can only be compared with the list price (manufacturer's suggested retail price) tend to show inflated discounts, so we left them out of the discount comparison.
• Duplicates: Where the same product came with and without a label, or in different sizes, we kept just one.
• Recheck: On Oct 9 we rechecked every item's discount and removed items no longer on sale or not shipping right away.
• Seller: All 50 items are sold by Amazon.co.jp.

Things to watch out for

• Discounts were rechecked on Oct 9. Prices change even during the sale, so check the product page before adding to cart.
• From the second Subscribe & Save delivery on, you pay the post-sale price. If you don't want to continue, skip or cancel after the first delivery arrives.
• The carton code (PAK2610) only covers items listed on Amazon's "eligible carton products" (対象の紙容器商品) page, and ends once the coupons run out.
• Cases of drinks are heavy and take up space. A case of 2L bottles weighs over 10kg, so it's worth thinking about whether you'll be home on delivery day.
